This is an Alocasia Pink Black Velvet pup. The plant will be shipped in its current substrate which is Sphagnum Moss.
Care for an Alocasias, provide bright, indirect light, maintain high humidity (60% or higher), ensure well-draining soil, and water when the top inch of soil is dry, but avoid overwatering.
Use a well-draining, aroid potting mix or a chunky blend. Alocasia can also do really well in Pon and a mix of Sphagnum moss and perlite. I used both these substrates on all my Alocasias and they love it.
