VERRRY BOHO, VERY VIBEY silky scarf! The swirls and waves remind me of the ocean, it's such a cool pattern on this scarf! Soft, silky feel! Reminds me so much of the 70s, but this is actually from the late 40s-early-to-mid 50s.
This was made in Italy and is 100% Acetate. The tag has an emblem on it, I've tried searching the WPL number and the logo to no avail - unfortunately I can't find who it's made by. For those who don't know, WPL numbers pre-date RN numbers on clothing and were used from 1941-1959... The number on this scarf is 9362. The numbers started with 00101 and ended with 13669.... I'd guess the era is most likely the mid-50's, but no way to tell definitively.
PHENOMENAL VINTAGE PIECE! Tiny holes noted - were from tag. Not noticeable.
