Coppercraft Guild was a company that produced copper home goods from 1973 to 1978. Founded by Tandy Corporation, the company sold its products through direct marketing. Today, these items are sought-after collectibles.
This particular teapot features a copper body with a brass spout and a wooden handle. Despite being vintage, it is a rare find as it has never been used other than display pieceand includes the original instructions inside. The teapot was made in the USA, specifically in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Copper is an excellent heat conductor, which allows this teapot to boil water quickly. For maintenance, it should be washed by hand with warm water and soap, and dried with a clean cloth to avoid water spots.
The teapot stands nearly 7 inches tall from the base to the top of the lid knob, and approximately 9.5 inches tall from the base to the top of the handle. The diameter of the widest section of the kettle, excluding the spout, is 8.5 inches, easily accommodating over 8 cups.
