The Kelty platform backpack is outdoor inspired and is the perfect pairing for that athletic young lady. Like all Kelty outdoor products this backpack is designed for Comfort, lightweight (3lbs.1oz.) Style and emphasis to protect the precious cargo inside. The fabric it's unlike other backpacks too. Laptop compartment is padded with two file dividers. Quick side zipper access for your laptop. The main book compartment has a pair of removable reinforcement brackets. The kangaroo pouch in back will hold a light jacket or helmet and there's two small pouches towards the bottom in the back. The shoulder strap is on a pivoting point to accommodate different body types. Even the padding for you're back has gaps for ventilation! There's also a hip and chest strap to keep the pack snug on your body for when you're on the go. Oh I almost forgot there's also three carry handles to make moving the pack around easier. (The pack is lightweight but it will get heavy when you load it up with books)
