Outstanding carving by a renowned master carver. Vintage 1970's Hand Carved E Muehlmatt Dark Eyed Junco mounted on a drift wood log. Mr. Muehlmatt is widely recognized and has his work in multiple museums. Signed on the bottom. This is one of his earlier works before he became incredibly popular. The bird measures 3.5" x 3" and is mounted to a wood piece measuring 9". No chips or damage. Overall an outstanding piece.
A must have for any collection!
