Soviet Era Russia and China "Friendship" Vintage Mechanical Wristwatch

Serving as a marker of the alliance of the two largest Communist powers of their day, this watch from just before the fall of the Soviet Russian State, was made to commentate the friendship between the two countries. Using the Chinese Hanzi numbers as well as the hand painted temple building on the watch face, this watch is a marriage of Russian mechanical craftsmanship and traditional Chinese art.
