The Panasonic ET-EMW400 is a zoom lens designed for PT-MZ16K, PT-MZ13K, and PT-MZ10K LCD laser projectors, giving installers a practical way to fill wide screens from short distances. With a focal length that can move between 15.3 mm and 21.1 mm, it lets you place the projector closer to the screen while still covering large image sizes, an advantage when ceiling height or room depth is limited.

In widescreen setups that use 16:10 or 16:9, the lens delivers a throw ratio from 0.69 to 0.95 to 1, meaning a 100-inch image can be achieved with the projector roughly 5 ft to 7 ft from the screen. For 4:3 content, the ratio shifts slightly to 0.83 to 1.15 to 1. These numbers matter in classrooms, museums, corporate conference rooms, and rental stages where every foot of floor space counts and the projector cannot be pushed far back.
