The concept for Naia was born from the pure and crystal clear waters of natural springs. This lure embodies a minimalist purity that captures the best attributes of the creator's previous creations. Naia was initially a simple fluid shape, but over the course of three years, it evolved into the product it is today. Her name was inspired by the Greek water nymphs of rivers and springs, known as Naiads, after the discovery of a 13,000 year old skeleton of an adolescent girl in an underwater cave. After two years of design and one year of testing, the StrategicAngler Naia series was finally launched in 2020. She combines the traditional design of a stickbait and fast sinking jig, but with a unique and seductive appearance. Naia's lack of a belly loop allows for a rhythmic side-to-side cadence as she falls freely, while the tail hook configuration can be customized to fit individual fishing styles.
A touch of UV* in the clear body illuminates her in the water, completing her scintillating form.
